ST. MARTIN’S LEARNING CENTER
St. Martin’s Learning Center has been a service in our community for 30 years. We offer a loving, structured learning environment for children ages 2-12. Throughout the school year, we focus on basic academics, computer skills, and socialization skills age appropriate for each group. Before and after school care is provided for children attending both Northwest R-1 and Grandview School Districts. A Summer Care program loaded with fun is also available. Your child will be able to participate in fun summer activities.
Our programs are available Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm with structured time being from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The Toddler class (ages 2-3) incorporates sharing, potty training and basic classroom skills with an introduction to academics. The Play & Learn class (ages 3-4) introduces a more in depth introduction to academics. The Pre-Kindergarten class (ages 4-5) practices advanced academics to prepare for Kindergarten.
In 2009 we began St Martin’s Learning Center Recognition Sunday and Tuition Assistance Program. This is held on the 3rd Sunday in February and is a time for a special giving when donations can be designated to the tuition assistance fund. The fund is regulated by a joint board of Learning Center employees, board members and Church Council members to help aid families in need of financial help with daycare needs. Each year during this service it is always heart warming to see the number of people we touch within our church family and throughout the community with this wonderful outreach program.
