Women’s Fellowship

Our Purpose is to unite ALL women of the church in Christian fellowship, and with divine help and guidance..

To develop an understanding of the work of the church,

To deepen spiritual life,

To promote Christian service…

In the HOME…

In the LOCAL CHURCH…

In the DENOMINATION…

In the COMMUNITY…

In the NATION….

In the WORLD!

These goals are accomplished through our continued support of Neighborhood Houses of St. Louis, Lydia’s House for abused women and children, Emmaus Home for the mentally disabled, Christmas baskets, Christmas cookies for shut-ins, camp scholarships, Care & Counseling, church financial needs and more.  We are able to keep these commitments through our yearly Trinket/Bake Sale, Quilt Raffle, August Chicken Supper and generous donations.

All women who are members of the United Church of Christ are considered member of our Women’s Fellowship. Friends of the church are also welcome to join our group as members. We meet the first Thursday of each month for a potluck luncheon at 11:30 am followed by a business meeting.  Please join us!

St. Martin’s Quilters are an important part of the Women’s Fellowship. The quilters help with the handmade quilt offered for raffle at the August Chicken Supper as well as with the funds made from quilting for others. Quilt tops, baby quilts, and some times just blocks are brought by church and community members for the ladies to complete into a work of art. The ladies earn .40 cents per yard of thread used to complete a quilt. These funds are given to the Women’s Fellowship to help with the ongoing missions they provide for. All are welcome to join us for quilting Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
